Staff

Here at Thornhill House all our staff pride themselves on the warm and homely atmosphere.  We have high standards and each member of staff cares for our residents as if they were a member of their own family.

To achieve this we have a rigorous training programme for our staff who are very keen to learn and embrace the very latest techniques and standards.  From the housekeeper to the manager, everyone puts in that little extra bit that goes towards making Thornhill House as comfortable as possible for our residents.  We have been exceptionally lucky to attract and retain the quality of staff that our residents deserve.

Our volunteers also help out with a ‘tea and coffee’ round and assist on outings, coffee mornings, fundraising events or just popping in to chat to the residents.

Staff at Thornhill HouseWe offer a competitive salary and are keen on training.  We are always looking for  people who can use their skills to compliment our team of staff. Vacancies can include; Nurse, Care Assistant, Admin, Housekeeping, Cook, Laundry, Maintenance and Activities Organiser.

The shifts can be part time, full time or even on our ‘bank’ of staff who provide us with a wide range of flexible working options.  All our staff are subject to approval by the Criminals Record Bureau.

If you are interested in joining our team or discussing employment opportunities, please feel free to contact us at any time.
