Great Longstone Village Hall The Village Hall was opened in May 1907 and is still going strong.

In May 2007 the village celbrated the 100th anniversary of using the Village Hall. (There is brief history here). To mark this occasion the History Society produced 3 videos about its origins, the official opening in 1907 and the centenary celebrations, which you can see below. The Centenary Celebrations in 2007. In the 1990’s fundraising and grants have resulted in the building be
refurbished to a high standard. Two of the events created to help with
fund-raising, the Annual Art Show
on the first weekend of August and the Fell Race on the first Friday in
September and still regular features in the village calendar. You can see a short video of the 2005 Great Longstone Fell Race here.
The village hall is a registered charity (1048410) and run by a management committee.
