Collection of Large Items

Derbyshire Dales District Council will take away bulk items for payment of a small fee. A charge of £13.00 (inclusive of VAT) is made for the collection of up to three bulky items and a charge of £22.50 (inclusive of VAT) is made for up to six bulky items. 

Fridges and Freezers

Fridges, freezers, fridge-freezers and de-humidifiers must be collected separately at a charge of £15.00.  They are collected separately on non-compaction vehicles to prevent the escape into the atmosphere of harmful CFC’s and HCFC’s. Telephone 01629 761215.

Televisions and Computer Screens

Televisions and computer screens must also be collected separately at a charge of £10.00.

Payment

You need to pay in advance, either in person at one of their office or over the telephone (01629 761215) by credit or debit card. Collection will be within 8 days of making the payment.
