Longstone CofE Primary School

The current school, originally built in 1862, underwent major extension work in 1971 and again in 1999. ​ It now provides excellent accommodation for up to six classes, with a computer centre, music practice room, library and new sports hall. Outside there is a large playground, sports field, pond and conservation area.
